Ramona Singer of Real Housewives of New York City has spoken out on the recent news of co-star Jules Wainstein's divorce. The reality star has extended her full support to Wainstein during this troubled time as the latter's eight-year-old marriage to Michael comes to an end.

Speaking to E! News about her fellow star's divorce, Singer asserted that she has Jules' back. "I'm very saddened for Jules. I know her heart's broken. It's never easy when there are problems in a marriage, especially when you realize you need to divorce and I'm there for her," she said.

"She's doing as well as she can in the situation, and her priority — because she is such a great mother — is her two children." The 59-year-old TV personality continued: "I think Jules was totally shocked by what happened and was very disappointed and it's sad. It's just very sad."

According to reports, it was Jules's husband Michael who had apparently "stepped out on the marriage" and that the "dysfunction in the marriage" was highlighted by the show. Sonja Morgan, one of the guests at Watch What Happens Live, too reacted to the divorce news. "I did speak with Jules, it's kinda devastating. They're pretty discrete people, it's hard... it's hard to take in."

Despite the numerous feuds and conflicts among the participants, Singer assured fans of the popular reality show that "girls' code" will be most important at the moment. "I believe in girls' code. Girls help other girls and I know I'm going to be there so much for her," she said.

The Bravo reality show Real Housewives of New York City airs every Wednesdays at 9/8c.
