Real Madrid will look to continue their 100% start to the season when they host Osasuna at the Santiago Bernabeu on 10 September.

Where to watch

Kick-off is set for 3pm BST. The game is not scheduled for live broadcast in the UK.

Overview

Real Madrid continued their winning start to the season against Celta Vigo on 27 August, with Toni Kroos's late goal giving the capital club a 2-1 win. With Las Palmas and Barcelona not in action until later on in the day, Zinedine Zidane's side can move temporarily to the top of the La Liga table by avoiding defeat against Osasuna.

Cristiano Ronaldo is expected to play his first match of the season after recovering from a knee injury. Karim Benzema (hip) could also return, but Isco, Fabio Coentrao and Keylor Navas remain sidelined through injury.

Osasuna are winless this season after an opening 1-1 draw at Malaga was followed by a 2-0 home defeat against Real Sociedad. Enrique Martin Monreal's side have lost four of their last five meetings with Real Madrid.

Defender Juan Fuentes and midfielder Alex Berenguer have shaken off knocks and are fit to play, but Javier Flano (knee) remains unavailable.

What managers say

Zinedine Zidane: "It is clear that we didn't particularly shine [against Celta Vigo]. In some games we are unable to play how we want to. We played against a tough opponent that made life hard for us. We have room for improvement but I'm content with our start to the season, winning two La Liga games and winning another official game (Uefa Super Cup)."

Enrique Martin Monreal: "The game [against Real Sociedad] was level because they had no options to score. It was two mistakes. We have to improve a lot and keep growing. The match was tied, very intense, and it was decided in two details that went against us."
