Where to Watch Live

Kick-off is set for 7:45pm BST. Live coverage of the match will be available on ITV 4.

Overview

The UEFA Super Cup clash is held between the Champions League and Europa League winners of the previous season. Real won Europe's elite club competition for the 10th time last season after defeating their derby rivals and La Liga champions Atletico Madrid 4-1 in the finals in Lisbon.

Meanwhile, Sevilla made it to the Super Cup after defeating Portuguese champions Benfica in last campaign's Europa League final. The Spanish club defeated Benfica on penalties earlier in May.

This year's Super Cup will be held in Wales and it will be an opportunity for Real star Gareth Bale to add another medal to his list of honours. In his debut season with the Spanish capital club, the former Tottenham Hotspur star has won the Copa del Rey and Champions League.

The Wales international scored in both finals and helped Carlo Ancelotti's men win two pieces of silverware last season. Bale would be looking for another success with Real on Tuesday. However, Unai Emery would be hoping Sevilla could register a victory over the La Liga giants.

England's Mark Clattenburg will referee this year's Super Cup clash between Real and Sevilla.

What Managers Say

Carlo Ancelotti: "The team had a good season. It won the Europa League with a group of players who worked well as a team and they deserved to win the title. Sevilla has changed a bit this year. In some ways it is an unknown side at the moment because they have lost some important players and others have arrived. We'll see what happens."

Unai Emery: "How can we possibly be favourites against Real Madrid? They haven't had much time to train and won't be at their best level, but that doesn't make them not favourites. It is clear, though, that we have the capabilities and resources to enjoy a great final and win it."
