American singer Chris Brown has admitted that he is still in love with his former girlfriend Rihanna.

During a recent concert, the 25-year-old R&B singer performed his rendition of Rihanna's latest hit B***h Better Have My Money.

Adding on, in the short video posted online, the Loyal hitmaker can be seen telling fans that the 27-year-old FourFiveSeconds hitmaker is "my b***h for life".

During an interview with Tim Westwood, Brown was asked why he chose the song, to which he replied: "She's my homie though. We knew each other since we were 14, 15 so with that kind of history, we are always going to be cool. I don't get jealous. I don't get mad. I got nothing but love and respect for her."

"I respect her as an artist," Brown continued. "Obviously people are going to make a spectacle, like 'Oh, he's playing her music!' But who doesn't? I'm pretty sure she plays my music."

Brown had infamously assaulted the Barbadian singer in 2009, by hitting her so forcefully that she had major bruises on her face, a split lip, and a bloody nose.

However, the two of them still have a strong and complicated bond, despite their public breakup.

Meanwhile, in an interview with Daily Mail, the five-time Grammy winner's father Ronald Fenty revealed that his daughter and Brown will not be getting back together.

"I don't know what their relationship is now. At the basketball, they just said 'hi and hello'. When we was going to the car park he was trying to talk with her but she turned and was talking to somebody else, so he came and talked to me and I had a picture with him. Afterwards Robyn said, 'dad you really taking pictures with he though'? [sic]" Fenty said.

"Let her do what she wants to do. This recycling thing don't work for everything, people don't ask me if I could go back with Ms Fenty.

"Chris is a player, he ain't ready for no one women yet, he ain't ready. He's a party guy," he added.
