Crytek took to the stage at Sony's Paris Games Week press conference to announce a new virtual reality game for Sony's PlayStation VR headset. An announcement trailer for Robinson: The Journey cast the viewer as someone dodging dinosaurs with a mysterious floating robot guides them.

Crytek co-founder, CEO and president Cevat Yerli took to the stage to announce the game as part of an extensive segment of the show dedicated to the PlayStation VR, which will be released in the first half of 2016.

You can watch the announcement below...

The game was developed in CryEngine and visually looks a lot like the Crytek tech demo which cast users as a stationary character in a T-Rex nest who comes face to face with mother dearest as she comes to inspect the intruder in her home.

No release information for Robinson: The Journey was announced.
