Where to Watch Live

The match is scheduled to begin at 3pm BST. Live coverage will be on ITV 3 or British Eurosport 2. Radio commentary, regular updates and live scores are available on Roland Garros' official website.

Fourth seed, Federer ousted Slovakia's Lukas Lacko in the first round clash on Sunday in straight sets needing just 84 minutes. The 17-time Grand Slam winner won, 6-2, 6-4, 6-2, against the 26-year-old Slovakian on Sunday to progress into the second round for the 11th straight time in this tournament.

The 32-year-old now clashes against Schwartzman for the first time in his career and the Swiss maestro will be keen on not making it a tie to remember for the wrong reasons. The 21-year-old Argentinean triumphed over Portugal's Gastao Elias, 6-4, 6-2, 7-5, following a hard fought battle that lasted 144 minutes.

The winner of this second round clash will take on the winner between Sam Querrey and Dmitry Tursunov in the next round.

Federer and Schwartzman have never faced each other in any competition.
