The Champions League nightmare and humiliation are well past and Sir Alex Ferguson's Red Devils are firmly back on track.

The two doubles from star striker Wayne Rooney and Nani saw the Manchester powerhouse bounce back in style after a week of misfortunes. Fergie's boys clinched a 4-1 win against Wolverhampton Wanderers at Old Trafford on Saturday night.

Rooney scored on 27 and 62 minutes, breaking a drought of almost three months when he went without a Premier League goal. His second finish was particularly impressive, when he tapped home a smart cross from Valencia.

Nani struck on 17 and 56 minutes. And the Wolves managed to return the compliment just once when Steven Fletcher scored on 47 minutes. After all, the Wolves were hardly a challenging opposition on the day.
