If her wardrobe wasn't glamorous enough already, it seems Kate Middleton has been officially upgraded in the fashion stakes courtesy of fellow fashionista Victoria Beckham.

According to shoe king Christian Louboutin, the former Spice Girl gave the Duchess of Cambridge a pair of his red-bottom boots and she totally pulled them off.

"I have all respect for what Kate Middleton is doing," the French luxury footwear designer told
Vogue magazine.

"I know that Victoria Beckham offered her a pair of my boots and she looked great in them. She's been photographed wearing my boots. She looked fantastic."

While the boots are sure to look good, Louboutin cannot guarantee they will be as comfortable as Prince William's wife's staple nude LK Bennett pumps.

She has been spotted wearing the mid-heels on multiple occasions, which cost £185.

In 2012, Louboutin admitted comfort wasn't a priority when he was creating beautiful shoes.

"I don't think of comfort when I'm designing a shoe," he told The Times newspaper.

"You can't. Of course, things need to be done properly - a shoe is made to be walked in - but creatively, I'm not thinking about comfort at all. The first emotion I want to provoke is: 'How beautiful! How sexy!' I don't want people to think: 'How comfortable.'"

Thanks to his designs, women across the globe walk taller and feel sexier - but don't expect any miracles, he says.

"I remember a woman thanking me because she applied for a job wearing my shoes and got it,"
he said.

"I said, 'don't give me the credit - they might have given you some confidence but I doubt anyone would give you a job because of your shoes. I wouldn't."
