Filmmaker brothers Joe and Anthony Russo are preparing for Marvel's big blockbuster movie Avenger: Infinity Wars, which is set for release in 2018. The Russo brothers have relocated to Atlanta for a year-long shoot for the next two Avengers movies, which will pick up where Captain America Civil War left off.

Soon after Brie Larson was announced as Captain Marvel, fans are speculating whether her superhero character will appear in Infinity Wars. Russo brothers also hinted at the possibility in an interview with the Toronto Sun.

"It's an incredible piece of casting. You couldn't ask for better," Joe said of Larson's casting and added that they are looking forward to working with her. "Not only is she an amazingly talented actor but she's a wonderful human being. We're really looking forward to the opportunity of re-teaming with her...if we were to get the chance to work with that character."

Avengers 3 will include as many as 70 characters as the superheroes band together to fight villain Thanos. Joe Russo said, "We've actually narrowed it down to 66 at this point, so we're making progress on that front."

The directors have not ruled out the possibility of including Netflix's leads like Daredevil and Jessica Jones in Infinity Wars. Anthony Russo said, "We do consider everyone. We don't want to get too specific about what's going to happen with these movies. We want these movies to be a surprise for audiences."

Avengers: Infinity War will focus on a handful of heroes revealed Anthony. "What we did in Civil War is exactly what we want to do in the Avengers — no matter how much screen time a character has, you can still have a lot of ambition for what you do with that character while you have them," he explained.
