Scotland play England in their opening clash of the 2016 Six Nations at Murrayfield, with both sides in contrasting spirits. Scotland have performed poorly in the annual tournament in recent years, but a spirited display from Vern Cotter's side at the Rugby World Cup in autumn 2015 saw them narrowly lose to Australia 35-34 in the quarter-finals.

England on the other hand suffered humiliation on home turf, as defeats to Wales and Australia saw them become the first host nation to be knocked out in the pool stages. But with a new head coach in Eddie Jones and a new captain in Dylan Hartley, England will be looking to bounce back and claim a first Six Nations crown since 2011.

In this video, IBTimes UK sports editor Nick Howson previews the match and gives his predictions on who will emerge victorious.

Scotland vs England kicks off at 4:40pm GMT on 6 February. Live coverage is available on BBC One and BBC Radio 5 Live.
