In this week's Sport Spotlight, we look back at a weekend of shocking FA Cup upsets, and Andy Murray's Australian Open chances.

FA 'Cupsets' galore

It was an extraordinary week of FA Cup action, where Middlesbrough beat Manchester City 2-0 at the Etihad, and Bradford City came from 2-0 down to beat Chelsea 4-2 at Stamford Bridge. There are now only 10 Premier League clubs left in the competition for the 5th round draw, and IBTimes UK sport editor Nick Howson puts the shock results down to Premier League complacency, and a disrespect for the competition.

Murray makes the last eight at Aussie Open

Andy Murray gained revenge for his Wimbledon exit to Grigor Dimitrov by beating the Bulgarian in a four set thriller that finished 6-4 6-7 (5-7) 6-3 7-5 after three hours and 32 minutes.

The 27-year-old Brit now takes on Nick Kyrgios in the quarter finals, and despite significant home-crowd backing for the Australian hopeful, will be expected to progress. Despite the likes of Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic still in the competition, Howson says that Murray should be seen as a real contender now to win the competition and claim his third grand slam title.
