Where to watch live

The game starts at 3pm BST. Live coverage of the match is available on BBC One. Real-time internet updates are available on Wimbledon's official website.

Overview

Wawrinka faced his toughest competition against David Goffin in the fourth round of the tournament, where he had to dig deep into his armoury to bring out his best and made it to the next round in straight sets. Wawrinka remains among the few players in the tournament to have not dropped a set so far and is looking good to make his way into the finals of yet another major tournament, following his triumph in the French Open.

The Swiss revealed that he was not moving as freely as he would like in the game and that he was overjoyed to have got the result, as he has much scope for improvement going into the final stages. Wawrinka and Gasquet share the spoils in head to head encounters, with the Swiss winning the more recent fixture in the French Open in 2013.

Meanwhile, Gasquet was taken to four sets by his opponent Nick Kyrgios and only a mistake from the Australian saw the Frenchman progress into the next round with relative ease. It will be his biggest challenge thus far in the tournament where he has to be at his very best to dent Wawrinka's indomitable surge in recent months.
