Overview

Sunrisers Hyderabad are still without a win in the ninth edition of the IPL following their defeat to Royal Challengers Bangalore and Kolkata Knight Riders. The last defeat came on 16 April when the two-time IPL winners registered a comfortable eight-wicket victory with 10 balls to spare.

David Warner's side struggled earlier in their innings and barring the performances of Eoin Morgan (51) and Naman Ojha (37), the rest had a disappointing day with the bat. This helped them post a total of 142, which was chased comfortably, thanks to Gautam Gambhir's unbeaten 90.

Mumbai Indians are also not enjoying a good start to this year's campaign. After three matches, they have suffered defeats at the hands of IPL newcomers Rising Pune Supergiants and Gujarat Lions.

The defending champions, who are led by Rohit Sharma, will be looking for a victory over Sunrisers. A defeat for the host will only see the pressure mount on them to make it to the knockouts.
