Supernatural Season 10 Pictures: Demon Dean Sings, Sam in Trouble, Castiel's 'Moral Dilemma'

Supernatural Season 10 will find the Winchester brothers wrestling with their demons.

CW released first-look photos from the show's Season 10 first episodes. The poster artwork features Jensen Ackles, Jared Padalecki, Misha Collins and Mark Sheppard, with some demonic hands reaching out for the boys.

Demon-Dean Singing

In the promotional pictures, Dean Winchester is seen singing at a karaoke bar. Dean is enjoying his demon form by drinking and flirting with bartenders, and getting into bar fights

Executive producer Jeremy Carver hinted that as a newly turned supernatural creature, Dean will have to decide "how dark and what kind of demon he's going to be.

"[He's] an ultra version of a womanizing party animal. Considering how wild and fun his new life is – he even becomes too much for Crowley to handle!", he told Tvline.

Sam in Danger?

Another picture CW released shows Sam Winchester tied up, his dishevelled looks suggesting that he may have trouble with new character Cole (played by Travis Aaron Wade).

Carver told E! News that Cole "is someone from Dean's past who is looking for Dean for reasons totally unrelated to what's going on with the demon/Mark of Cain story."

Carver described this formidable new character as "a guy that has a terrific amount of hunting skills but he's not a hunter in our sense of the word. He has no idea that the monster world exists so imagine his surprise when he comes across the man he's been hunting and he is something other than human."

Also, Sam - unaware of what's happened to his brother - will try his best to find Dean, leading the younger Winchester "to do some questionable things that will make him, and certainly the audience, wonder which one of these guys is the true monster," Carver noted.

Castiel's Dilemma

Meanwhile, Castiel is back on Earth and struggling with the moral dilemma of how to get his angelic grace back without being a burden.

Castiel will be the harsh "voice of reason" when it comes to Dean's situation, said Ackles.

"Even though it might be hard to hear, it might be hard to say, he tells Sam, 'Listen, you know what you have to do if things don't go right.'"

Supernatural Season 10 returns Tuesday, 7 October on CW.
