The Saturdays' star Frankie Sandford is expecting her first child with fiancé Wayne Bridge.

The 24-year-old singer announced her baby news on Twitter, telling her one million followers: "Some big news from me today! Wayne and I are having a baby. We are both SO happy and can't wait for his or hers arrival!"

Celebrities and fans quickly flocked online to congratulate the expectant parents.

One fans said: "Beautiful couple, great seeing Wayne happy, his lady is super hot. Wayne you lucky man."

The brunette beauty will be third member of the group to have a baby. Healy welcomed a little girl in 2012 and Rochelle Humes is currently expecting with her husband, JLS star Marvin.

Sandford and her footballer beau began dating in December 2010, just two months after Sandford ended her relationship with McFly bassist Dougie Poynter.

The pregnancy announcement comes just weeks revealed that they are set to get married.

Announcing her engagement on Twitter she wrote: "Guess what?!", and linked an image which showed her pretending to gasp in shock as Bridge kissed her cheek. A huge diamond ring is visible on her marital finger.

Manchester City left back Wayne, 32, who is currently on loan to Brighton & Hove Albion, already has a son with French model Vanessa Perroncel

Bridge made headlines in January 2010 after it emerged that Perroncel had allegedly had an affair with Wayne's then teammate John Terry.
