Taylor Swift and Drake's growing fondness for each other has sparked many a dating rumours in the past few weeks; and the rapper's adorable picture-post has only added fuel to all such speculations. Amid the brewing dating talks, a latest report claims that the prospect music couple might even ring in the New Year together.

"They share a real connection over their love of music and studio time and get on very well," a source told The Sun dishing on the romance gossip surrounding the rapper and the pop star.

"Taylor met his parents at a recent birthday party and invited him to drop in any time he's in her neck of the woods to meet her folks. In turn he's told her to party with him at New Year in Las Vegas," the source added.

If the report turns out to be true, pop culture fans might witness the making of another music couple. Both Swift and Drake have had their share of whirlwind romances this year.

While the 26-year-old ended things with long-time beau Calvin Harris and then a brief romance with Tom Hiddleston, Drake too seemed to have moved on from his on-again and off-again relationship with Barbadian singer Rihanna.

However, Drake and the Blank Space hitmaker are not just being linked romantically, but also they are expected to collaborate for music soon. According to the report, Swift – who has been gradually progressing from traditional country style to pop – now wants an edgier hip-hop addition in her songs. And if rumours are to be believed, the songstress has been looking for the Grammy winning-rapper for inspiration.

Drake and Swift fuelled the romance speculations in October after the Bad Blood hitmaker was spotted getting cosy with him at his 30th birthday bash. Following the dating rumours, it was also reported that the Hotline Bling singer was wooing the pop star by sending exquisite gifts for her cats - Meredith and Olivia.
