When he is not fighting off vicious villains from across other worlds, Chris Hemsworth is busy being a super dad. When the local bakery informed him that they were unable to make the dinosaur cake his daughter India Rose wanted for her birthday, the actor decided to take things into his own hands.

The Thor actor posted a photo of the cake on Instagram of the adorable cake he made for his daughter. "What happens when the bakery says they don't have time to make your daughter a birthday cake? You get involved and smash one out yourself! I call it "La TRex al la chocolate," he wrote alongside the post.

The young Hemsworth's birthday is on 11 May, but it looks like the actor wanted to start the celebrations on Sunday (8 May) itself.

Mamma Elsa Pataky also posted a photo on Instagram of her muscled hubby working the cake batter while showing off his drool-worthy biceps. "Papa working hard on India's birthday cake! Happy birthday India, love you more than anything," she captioned the photo in Spanish.

Hemsworth is no stranger to the kitchen and seems to enjoy spending his time cooking up food for his family. A couple of weeks ago, Pataky uploaded a photo of the actor following the premier of his latest film The Huntsman: Winter's War, in which he was seen preparing a late night snack along with his daughter.
