Tom Cruise hasn't celebrated Christmas with daughter Suri for over three years, says report

Tom Cruise, who is rumoured to have cut ties with former wife Katie Holmes and daughter Suri, might not spend time with his 10-year-old daughter during the Christmas holidays for the fourth consecutive year, media reports suggest.

According to an unverified report by Life and Style magazine, "it's been more than three years since Tom has seen Suri."

Shedding further light on the father-daughter duo's estrangement, an alleged source told the magazine, "And he hasn't celebrated Thanksgiving or Christmas with her [in person] since she was 6."

"[Cruise] doesn't talk about those days with Suri much anymore," the insider added.

While, the Mission Impossible actor will not be catching up with his youngest child – whom he shares with ex-wife Holmes – this year as well, Cruise might spend some time with his son Connor Cruise. The 21-year-old was adopted by the actor when he was married to actress Nicole Kidman in 1990.

Apparently, Cruise will be spending time with Connor over basketball and soccer games at the Scientology headquarters in Clearwater.

As Cruise's estrangement from his youngest child Suri continues, speculations have been rife that the Church of Scientology is responsible for it. Previously, a report claimed that the actor shun all contacts with Holmes and Suri after they returned to the Catholic Church following the couple's divorce in July 2012.

But, the Church of Scientology denied all such allegations with a formal statement claiming that "Scientologists often have family members and friends who are not Scientologists and who may practice another faith or no faith at all".

"We never comment on individual parishioners' lives. On the issue of Church religious practices, we do not know who your anonymous sources are, but they got it all wrong," the statement continued.

"Scientologists respect the faith of others, associate with and befriend members of every religion. Scientologists do not cut ties with non-Scientologist friends or family members because they have chosen another religion," it read.

Cruise was last photographed with Suri in August 2012 at the Typhoon Lagoon Water Park in Lake Buena Vista, Florida, according to Jezebel.
