Where to watch

Kick-off is at 3pm GMT. Catch the highlights of the match on Match of the Day on BBC One and BBC One HD at 10.30pm GMT.

Overview

Tottenham Hotspur moved to the fourth spot in the Premier League table after sealing a 2-0 victory over Southampton at St Mary's Stadium. They also had to credit Norwich City for helping them climb up the table as the Canaries' victory over Manchester United helped them move into the top four.

The north London club, who suffered their first home defeat at the hands of Newcastle United, managed to bounce back against the Saints. Mauricio Pochettino will be hoping his side can stay in the top four with victory on Boxing Day.

Norwich, who managed to beat Louis van Gaal's side at Old Trafford, will be hoping to use that as a springboard during the busy festive period. Alex Neil is aware that a victory over Tottenham will be a massive boost for the upcoming fixtures as it will be their second consecutive victory over a team that is challenging for a place in the top four this season.

What managers say

Mauricio Pochettino: "Ryan [Mason] started training with the group at the beginning of the week and he's available for selection. It's very good news, Ryan is a very important player for us."

Alex Neil: "The Man United game won't mean anything if we don't kick on and pick up more results. The standard in the Premier League is still top quality but there are a lot of teams in transition at the moment."
