Just days after her drugs trial was dismissed, Tulisa Contostavlos has been found guilty of assault.

The Former X Factor judge is said to have attacked celebrity blogger Savvas Morgan (Vas J Morgan) backstage at V Festival in August 2013.

During the trial she denied punching him in the face in an unprovoked attack, insisting he had hidden motives for his allegations.

She was convicted at Stratford Magistrates' Court, in east London, where she also recieved a £200 fine. Her PA Gareth Varey was cleared of using threatening behaviour.

Earlier this month Constostavlos, who was accused of brokering a drugs deal between undercover Sun reporter Mazher Mahmood and her friend Mike GLC, was cleared of charges.

A judge threw out the case after revealing there were "strong grounds" to believe Mahmood, famously known as the 'Fake Sheikh', had lied under oath.

"This whole case was a horrific and disgusting entrapment by Mazher Mahmood and the Sun on Sunday newspaper," Contostavlos said after she was cleared of all charges.

"As someone who has ruined my life for the last year, I strongly believe that this type of entrapment should not be allowed to happen to anyone."
