A suspicious flying object was spotted near the International Space Station (ISS) triggering UFO sighting rumours.
The object was reportedly spotted 275 miles above Earth near the ISS and was reported by Streetcap 1, a user who keeps posting suspected UFO videos on YouTube.
This video was uploaded on 22 January and Streetcap 1 titled it "ISS: Another Visitor?"
In the video, a mysterious object can been seen appearing above the Earth's atmosphere and then it slowly fades away.
The UFO hunter categorically denied the possibility of the suspected object being the moon, by saying, "Not sure what this is, but I don't think it's the moon".
Some YouTube users suspect the object could be an asteroid, which had had a close encounter with the Earth, and the moment was captured by Nasa's live video feed.
This is not the first time that a UFO has been spotted near the ISS, however this time Nasa did not come forward to explain what the object could have been.
The existence of UFOs has remained a debatable subject since long and the recently released Project Blue Book documents are only adding fuel to fire.
According to the documents, in July 1956, a Meriden resident spotted a mysterious, "cigar shaped object with a bright glow" hover above the city for about 13 minutes. The Air Force then had concluded that there was not enough data to explain the object's appearance.
