An amateur video has been released which shows the moment a tornado tore through the small Ohio town of Beavercreek. The town's police department released the footage of the storm, which occurred on 26 May.

The 30-second clip captures the moment the tornado rips through the town, tossing cars and trucks and bringing down trees. Police said two people in a parking lot suffered minor injuries.

Both the United States and Mexico have been affected by severe weather recently, causing tornadoes and flash flooding.

Earlier this week a tornado raged through the city of Ciudad Acuna on the US-Mexico border, destroying homes, flinging cars into the air and ripping a baby away from its mother. At least 13 people were killed, authorities said.
