Police have released footage of two men appearing to steal presents from underneath a Christmas Tree during a house burglary.
The one-minute clip shows the suspects targeting the gifts wrapped and under the tree. Presents, including jewellery, photographic equipment, a tablet device and a laptop computer were taken.
The Metropolitan Police said the suspects gained entry by scaling a garden fence and breaking in through the rear of the house in Mitcham, south London, between 12 December and 14 December.
The CCTV footage shows the thieves inspecting the presents before removing them from the house. During a second visit to the property a third man is present – although not captured on film.
