The Walking Dead
Filming for TWD season 6 is underway AMC

The Wolves are coming on The Walking Dead in season 6 and looks like they've got a whole army of zombies.

In a recent interview with Melty, series executive producer Greg Nicotero revealed that the Wolves are using humans as bait in a bid to create a "zombie army" which they'll use to attack nearby communities, including Alexandria.

"We set up the Wolves in [season 5] Episode 16. I love those characters," Nicotero told Melty. "...The fact that you have people that are basically utilising [other] people that they kill as ammunition to build a zombie army? We see them in Episode 9 when they get to Noah's neighbourhood and we see the 'Wolves not far' in the background."

"...and when the W-man at the beginning says to Morgan, 'Well, we're going to take you, too, but you're not exactly going to be alive,' we realize through the course of the episode that they are setting booby traps everywhere so that they can take people's possessions and then use them as a means to build the walkers in the traps, so it's kind of a diabolical plan," he added.

Well, this big, crazy zombie army is definitely coming and The Walking Dead Facebook fan page - The Spoiling Dead Fans - might have already revealed how large the army is. Check out the leaked on-set image here.

The Walking Dead season 6 is slated to premiere in October 2015.
