According to the official synopsis, "Alex is pushed to her breaking point after Scarlett stirs up memories of Holden. is targeted by a dangerous rival of The Countess. Written by James Wong; directed by Bradley Buecker."

There are a lot of fan theories on Mr March and the Countess's history, some think she is the wife who ratted him out to the police. Co-creator Ryan Murphy teased a strong connection between the two in an interview with Entertainment Weekly. Murphy said, "She does have a very strong connection to him that is also revealed starting in episodes 3, 4, and 5."

The Countess broke Donavan's heart, quite brutally in the last episode, after which he will team up with another scorned lover of the Countess and plot revenge. Speaking of Donavan, Murphy teased, "Well he's adrift. In episode 3, he meets somebody else who has also been hurt badly by The Countess, which is Angela Bassett's character Ramona Royale. So they team up and are quite good together. It's all mayhem and bloodshed and revenge."

The producer teased what to expect in episode 3. "Next week's episode is about the introduction of Ramona Royale which I love. It's also about the Iris-Donovan-Sally story, which takes even new dimension. It also has some great Mr. March-Tristan stuff that I love," he revealed.

A new promo shows Donavan meeting Ramona, who kidnaps him and chains him to a chair as he asks, "Who the hell are you?" Also, newly turned vampire Tristan (Finn Wittrock) will run into Mr March again, as he says, "You are the greatest serial killer who ever lived."

"How do you know all that?" asks March. "I googled you," Tristan replies. "That sounds obscene," replies March in his creepy accent.
