A new trailer of the movie Warcraft has been released. The movie is an adaptation of a popular videogame series of the same name, which was first launched in 1994.
The latest teaser of Warcraft builds up the tempo for the massive battle between humans and the invading Orcs, who come across the peaceful world of Azeroth via the Dark Portal, which opens a gateway between the different worlds.
The invading Orcs will be divided into two factions: A group of green-coloured Orcs will be looking to take over Azeroth because their own world called Draenor is dying. However, another group of brown-coloured Orcs, lead by Durotan (Toby Kebbell) will be looking to ally with the humans. The struggle to survive will see both the good and the bad sides of those involved in the battle.
The trailer beings with a female voice saying: "We have had peace in these lands for many years now. But one of our villages was burnt tonight."
In the next scene, Durotan, who is the leader of the good Orcs, says: "War is coming." To which actress Ruth Negga, who plays lady Taria, says: "An invasion." Soon afterwards a large army of bad green Orcs makes its way towards Azeroth in a bid to take control.
Actor Dominic Cooper, who plays King Liane Wrynn, tells others who have a stake in the world of Azeroth: "If we do not unite to fight this enemy, our world will perish."
In one scene a character tells human leader Sir Anduin Lothar (Travis Fimmel): "Saving the world is not a one man job." The character could play a larger part in saving the world as he is no ordinary humans and possesses magical powers.
The trailer also introduces actress Paula Patton, who plays the character of Garona Halforcen, a half-orc warrior woman. Halforcen and Lothar are both attracted towards each other but the half-orc woman has to decide which side she will support when the fight for Azeroth begins.
To know the fate of the humans, fans will have to watch the movie. The movie hits theatres on 10 June in the US.
