Outlander season 2 returns with an all-new episode this Saturday, where Claire and Jamie Fraser will throw a dinner party to turn the investors against Prince Charles. Episode 4 titled La Dame Blanche will air on 30 April at 9pm ET/PT on Starz.
The official synopsis reads as follows:
Claire will finally reveal to her husband in episode 4 that Black Jack Randal is alive. Sam Heughan spoke to IGN about Claire and Jamie's current track. The actor shared: "Jamie's definitely still scarred physically but also mentally. He doesn't deal with it, so he pushes it to one side, and he's also got this mission, so he's dealing with that. Claire is also. They lose track of each other, they lose contact, and it becomes poisonous in their relationship and it kind of implodes on them."
"It's Black Jack that's poisoned it all and spoiled it for them," Heughan noted.
Caitriona Balfe, who plays Claire, said: "It's a weird thing because they're both trying to find a common ground that's safe, where they can converse, because he's still emotionally and psychologically hurting. What was interesting for me was to then have this sort of private journey for Claire that was sort of building and building like a pressure cooker."
A promo for the episode shows Jamie introducing Claire to all the guest invited at the party. Jamie says: "Allows me to present my wife, Claire Fraser." Claire then says: "So wonderful to see you all. My sincere apologies for my delay. You must be famished." She then adds in Frech that dinner is served and leads them all to the table.
