For their upcoming film, By The Sea, Hollywood couple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are practicing an intense form of self defence combat developed by the Israeli army.
"Angelina previously learnt Krav Maga when she was doing Tomb Raider and absolutely loved it," said a source, according to Mirror.
"The whole family are learning the moves. Even the little ones are doing modified kids' moves but Brad has been doing it for 45 minutes a day and has dramatically lost weight and beefed up his muscles for the film."
Krav Maga is an Israeli system of self defence and is a highly-demanding form of unarmed combat burning hundreds of calories with each session. It has proven a popular training method for a host of celebs, including Hollywood hunk George Clooney and super sexy Jennifer Lopez, states the Mirror report.
It was earlier reported that the movie, written and directed by Jolie will be a light, romantic film. However, this latest piece of news hints that the plot of By The Sea could be a lot closer to the couple's last film together – Mr & Mrs Smith.
They are shooting at Mgarr ix-Xini beach on Gozo, Malta's second largest island. Excitingly the flick will feature cameo roles for the couple's oldest children, Maddox and Pax, too.
