A bunch of fresh screenshots depicting the Windows 10 for Phones or Windows Mobile 10 have been leaked.
The screenshots were first obtained and published by WMPoweruser via the Chinese site Weibo. The above photo shows the Start screen with background image and group tile header. If you look closely, the headers in the screenshot read (after translation) Start and Office respectively.
But the tiles on the screen (above photo) are not transparent, which is contrary to what was confirmed earlier that the Xbox One would have transparent tiles in the upcoming update. (Check the screenshot below)
There are a couple of more, which show the Settings page of Windows Mobile 10, with better navigation through the settings using jump lists.
Windows Mobile 10 availability
Microsoft is said to be working hard to get the new Windows Phone operating system ready before summer.
Additionally, the top-notch devices powered with Windows 10 for Phones, which are believed to be the upgraded version of the current Lumia 930 and Lumia 150, are also in the pipeline. The flagship smartphone and the Windows Mobile 10 are expected to be ready by the second quarter of this year.
Windows Phone 8.1 Update 2
The Windows Phone 8.1 Update 2, or, GDR2 is reported to be still in the works. The Update 2 will only have stability and fixes in preparation for the Windows Mobile 10, but its bulk features will still be a part of Windows Mobile 10.
UPDATE: The leaked screenshots are not real.
