Argentina: Teenager 'gang-raped' and had eyes gouged by sister in gruesome exorcism

A teenager in Argentina was brutally gang-raped and had her eyes gouged out by her sister, in a brutal exorcism ritual, allegedly ordered by a local pastor. The attack happened in the town of General Pinedo, in the north Argentine province of Chaco.
The 16-year-old's family admitted they orchestrated the horrific assault because they believed she was possessed by the devil. They said they had asked the evangelic centre and its pastor to help them 'cure her'.
It is the first time in 22 years of my career in the police to have an event of this nature. It is very difficult to explain that something like this could happen to a teenager.
The victim was treated for her injuries in the intensive care unit of the Perrando de Resistencia hospital. Doctors reported that she had also suffered several injuries in the genital area after being subjected to a brutal gang rape.
After the ordeal of the sexual assault, the teenager was pinned down as her elder sister cut both of her eyes out The victim's sister claimed that the pastor of a religious centre gave her the knife she used to carry out the attack.
She said she was instructed to personally carry out the gruesome act in order to cure her sister of demonic possession. She told police that her sibling was having visions and it was believed that gouging her eyes would drive out the demon.
Police Commissioner Pablo Almiron said: "It is the first time in 22 years of my career in the police to have an event of this nature. The prosecutor has also said that it is the first time in his life. It is very difficult to explain that something like this could happen to a teenager."
According to the Mail Online, police are to arrest a group of men in connection with the horrifying attack. The victim is in hospital fighting for her life.
