Loic Remy has revealed that he would like to play in either Italy or England in the future, with the Tottenham target admitting he will be open to talking about his next step after the 2012 Euros.

Remy was a big target for Spurs in the January transfer window, and Harry Redknapp scouted the striker personally on a number of occasions.

And despite Tottenham putting in a big bid for the star, Marseille insisted that he is not for sale, and January passed by without a deal going through.

But now Remy has said that he is concentrating on preparing to represent France at the Euro tournament, and will then be open to possibilities as he decides his next move.

"My dream is to play for a big club in Italy or England," he told Surface Magazine.

"I first want to give my best in playing for Olympique Marseille, and at this summer's European Championships with France, then I will assess what to do with my future. "

Tottenham are aiming for their second Champions League qualification in three years, with the side currently third in the table and four points clear of fourth-placed rivals Arsenal.

A lot of Spus' transfer dealings in the summer will depend on Harry Redknapp's future, with the former Portsmouth manager considered favourite to take on the England job either in the lead-up to, or after, the Euros.

Redknapp has often expressed admiration for Remy, telling reporters at the start of the year: "He is a good player.

"We could have had him a couple of years ago, to be honest with you.

"He has pushed on. He was a player we looked at and I watched him a couple of times at that stage, but he went to Marseille.

"There is interest there. But that is as far [as it goes]. At the moment, there is nothing more than that."

With Remy planning a move to either Italy or England, Marseille's hand may be forced if Tottenham put in another big-money bid like Didier Deschamps described in January.
