From Salma Hayek to Katie Melua Celebs at 20th Paris Disneyland Resort Anniversary Celebrations

The 20th anniversary celebration at the Paris Disneyland Resort was a spectacular event on 31 March, 2012 featuring a host of celebrities, famous Disney characters and parades.

The grand events, coined "Dreams" involved an array of Disney special effects into one new nighttime show.

The resort, which started on 12 April, 1992 for the first time, is a popular tourist spot with thousands of children and adults visiting the place every year. As Disneyland Paris reaches the 20<sup>th anniversary milestone, the resort launched a series of events starting April.

Present on the occasion were a number of celebrities including actress Salma Hayek, Georgian-born singer Katie Melua, French director Luc Besson and his wife Virginie Silla and Belgian television presenter Tanja Dexters among others.

The celebrations also involved the "Disney Magic on Parade!" featuring popular Disney characters, new floats, dance routines, costumes, and the energising 20th anniversary theme song "Magic Everywhere!"

In addition to the anniversary celebrations, Disney Parks along with Disney Cruise Line has announced the launch of its new Disney Fantasy cruise ship, the exciting expansion of Fantasyland and the opening of the new Art of Animation resort at Walt Disney World.
