Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo has hinted at a possible division within the Spanish champions' camp, by claiming he is upset with some people at the club.

The 27-year-old scored twice in Madrid's 3-0 win over Granada in a league game to pass 150 goals for the club, but refused to celebrate either strike. The forward spoke about his lack of celebration after the game.

"I'm sad because of a professional issue and the club know why. That's why I didn't celebrate the goals, because I'm not happy. The people [at the club] know why," Goal.com quoted Ronaldo as saying.

The Portugal captain stated the issue had nothing to do with losing the UEFA 2012 Best Player in Europe award to Barcelona's Andres Iniesta last week, adding that he was now focused on his national team and their requirements, as the Spanish league heads into an international break

"It's nothing to do with Iniesta [winning European player award]. I won't talk about this any more and I will concentrate on Portugal for now. There are more important things [than this]. The people at the club know about this. I can't say any more," the former Manchester United star added.

Spanish newspaper AS claims Ronaldo has met Madrid president Florentino Perez and informed him his situation with Los Blancos had become untenable and he wants to leave. The report also speculates that the forward is struggling to get on with some of his teammates.

The likes of Fabio Coentrao and Marcelo have been cited as possible targets of Ronaldo's discontent, while the Portuguese's chequered history with club captain Iker Casillas has also been mentioned.

In addition, Marca noted Ronaldo did not spend too much time sitting with manager Jose Mourinho on the Real Madrid bench during the game against Granada, after being substituted. He was taken off for Argentine striker Gonzalo Higuain on 65 minutes and headed for the dressing rooms a few minutes later, looking disgruntled following a brief exchange with the manager.

The Daily Mail reports Ronaldo could now shock Mourinho and his club by demanding to leave the club.

Ronaldo has established himself as Madrid's most important outfield player since arriving from Old Trafford in 2009, in a world record deal valued at £80m. The prolific forward has now scored 151 goals in 149 appearances, in all competitions, for Los Blancos.

Real Madrid have yet to comment on the matter.
