Octomom Nadya Suleman has won Best Celebrity Sex Tape at the 30th annual Adult Video News (AVN) awards. The AVN awards are the adult entertainment industry's most prestigious awards and the 2013 ceremony was held at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, in Las Vegas.

"Seriously it has not sunk in yet," Suleman said to E! News, adding, "This is fantastic, what an honor. Hopefully this will open the doors to more opportunities. I'm proud I did this movie, it helped me grow into a woman. Octomom Home Alone is a true reflection of my intimate side. I am excited to have the award, I am trying to figure out where I will put it."

The controversial film was released by Wicked Entertainment in June last year and features the 37-year-old mother of 14 children in "erotic vignettes" that take "playful aim at different aspects of her Octomom persona".

The AVN award comes after Octomom signed a deal with T's Lounge in West Palm Beach, Florida to appear topless on their stage. A TMZ report claimed Suleman was paid $20,000 (approximately £14,000) for her appearance.

This comes after the mother-of-fourteen signed a deal with a Florida strip club to appear topless on stage. According to report in TMZ, she is reportedly getting paid $20,000 (approximately £13854) for her appearance at T's Lounge in West Palm Beach, Florida.

Her AVN win aside, Octomom has reportedly signed up for government assistance once again. A source close to Suleman was quoted by TMZ as saying rehabilitation bills were eating into her savings. Suleman is expected to get $1,800 (approximately £1,100) per month for food and $1,000 (approximately £630) for emergencies, as well as medical benefits and insurance.

The world first noticed Suleman in January 2009, when she gave birth to octuplets at a Southern California hospital. All her children are the result of In-Vitro Fertilization (IVF) and some of them have disabilities - one is autistic, another has Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and the third a speech impediment.
