FC Twente winger Nacer Chadli could be the latest addition to the Premier League's growing Belgian contingent, after his agent revealed his admiration for the English game ahead of a summer move.

The 23-year-old has played an integral role at Twente over the past three seasons but as he prepares to enter the last year of his contract, Chadli has hinted towards a summer exit, with both Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool credited with firm interest.

However, the Premier League duo are likely to face stern competition from a host of clubs across the continent, with Shakhtar Donetsk, Galatasaray, Serie A champions Juventus and Champions League runners up Borussia Dortmund also keen on the 23-year-old.

Both Liverpool and Spurs' hopes of signing Chadli were seemingly hindered when his agent Daniel Evrard hinted that the opportunity to play in the Champions League could play a role in the free-scoring winger's decision.

But Evrard also went onto highlight his client's admiration for the English game, adding that a decision on the Belgian's future will be made later this month.

"Nacar likes Champions League games but he is also attracted by English football. From that angle we expect something," Evrard told Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf.

"Nacer is in a great position, both sportingly and in terms of his contract. I expect that clubs do not want to wait that long, and there will certainly be a decision this month."

Despite missing nearly three months of the Eredivisie campaign through injury, Chadli still managed to strike 12 league goals in just 17 appearances, finishing second in the club's goal scoring charts.

De Telegraaf suggest a fee of €12m would be enough to tempt Twente in parting with the player, who are eager to reinvest in their squad after finishing in a disappointing sixth place last season.

Chadli will line up for Marc Wilmots Belgium side in a World Cup qualifying match with Serbia this Friday, whereupon after he is likely to decide upon his future.
