Brian McFadden is set to marry his girlfriend Vogue Williams after just eight months of dating.
The couple have decided to take their whirlwind romance to the next level by tying the knot this year.
McFadden met Irish DJ Williams at a Letterkenny nightclub last year shortly after McFadden and his ex-fiancé Australian singer Delta Goodrem broke off their three year engagement.
Talking to OK! Australia, the former Westlife star insisted that even though they had only been together a short time, the intensity of their relationship had made him realise, sooner rather than later, that she was the woman for him.
Commenting on the swift engagement, he told the celebrity magazine: "It's early (to be engaged) when you think about how long we've been together, but not when you consider the amount of time we've spent together'
"We've literally spent every second of every day together for eight months now," he added.
According to reports, the 31-year-old Irish singer popped the question back in November last year but the couple decided to wait before making their engagement public.
The couple took to Twitter to share the news of his impending nuptials with fans.
While an ecstatic Vogue tweeted: "I'm engaged! Delighted!" the singer posted a picture of Vogue, with the words "My beautiful wife-to-be", and later added: "I'll have to invite all my followers to the wedding. We'll have to get married in central park Vogue Williams."
This could be second time lucky for McFadden who was previously married to Kerry Katona in 2002. The pair, who divorced in 2004, have two daughters together.
