London may be the selfie capital of the world, but Cannes can't be far behind this week.

When it comes to wanting a permanent record of special moments, celebrities are just like the rest of us. At this year's Cannes Film Festival, many stars have stopped to take pictures of themselves on the red carpet – despite the thousands of professional photographers employed to do just that.
