Spider-Man is expected to side with Iron Man in Civil War Marvel

New rumoured details with regards to how Spider-Man is introduced and inducted into The Avengers team in Captain America 3 have surfaced online and like previous reports, the latest ones also tease a key involvement by Tony Stark.

Earlier rumours indicated that Stark creates an advanced Spidey suit for Peter Parker, which wins him the web-slinger's loyalty in Civil War. But according to a report by Geek.com, there's a bit more to it than just the cool Stark tech.

Citing sources, the site reveals that a new Spidey suit is confirmed but the main reason the young Parker takes Iron Man's side in the superhero feud is because he grew up idolising Iron Man. Apparently, Parker watched the Armoured Avenger in action from a very young age and this was what partly inspired him to suit up and become a superhero. In turn, when Stark hears about Spider-Man's abilities he pays him a little visit.

Rumours of Stark gifting Parker a new Spidey suit surfaced last year. "If the 'Sony Hack' is to be believed, it will be Stark who presents the young Spidey with his Iron Spider costume," stated ComicBookMovie.

Captain America: Civil War stars Robert Downey Jr as Tony Stark/ Iron Man, Chris Evans as Steve Rogers/ Captain America and Tom Holland as Peter Parker/ Spider-Man (in a cameo appearance) among a host of other actors. The film is slated to release on 6 May 2016.
