Captain America: Civil War will open with a funeral scene  Marvel

The plot of Captain America: Civil War may be centered around Steve Rogers and Iron Man's rivalry and intense scenes between the former Avenger teammates but a new report claims that the movie will end with a shocking death scene involving a major character.

Spoilers Ahead

YouTube channel That Hashtag Show claims that the movie begins with a funeral scene and ends with a funeral scene. Leaked images from the set last July showed a funeral scene, which the video now confirmed is for Agent Peggy Carter.

"This will be the beginning of the film. It's also how Steve Rogers connects with Sharon Carter, who will be Cap's romantic interest in the movie," claims the video. However, the shocking part is the movie will end with the funeral of Rogers aka Cap himself.

According to the video: "During the film, Steve will make a deal with the government stating that they are not to hunt down the people that allied with him in the Civil War. After Steve is taken into custody he is killed."

The ending is very similar to the storyline of Captain America comic book Fallen Son. "At Steve's funeral, Tony Stark will be very broken up over this and the mood is extremely sad. Other heroes will blame Stark for Rogers death," the video added.

Even though it seems like Rogers will be gone, that doesn't mean Captain America won't live on. In the comics, the Winter Soldier aka Sebastian Stan and the Falcon take on the mantle as the new Cap.

According to Marvel, Captain America: Civil War finds Rogers leading the newly formed team of Avengers in their continued efforts to safeguard humanity. But after another incident involving the Avengers results in collateral damage, political pressure mounts to install a system of accountability, headed by a governing body to oversee and direct the team.

The new status quo fractures the Avengers, resulting in two camps — one led by Rogers and his desire for the Avengers to remain free to defend humanity without government interference and the other following Stark's surprising decision to support government oversight and accountability.

The movie is scheduled to release on 6 May 2016.
