Daniel Craig: I would Pick Dirty Rihanna Over Beyonce to Be My Bond Girl

James Bond star Daniel Craig thinks popstar Rihanna would make a better Bond girl than Beyoncé because of her sex appeal.

The British actor - whose latest Bond film, Skyfall, is currently breaking records at the box office - insists that the Diamonds hitmaker would be better suited to play a sexy femme fatale in the spy series.

Asked to choose between the two singers, the 007 actor told GlobalGrind.com: ''I think Rihanna [would be better]. She's dirtier.''

However, when the same question was put to his female co-stars Berenice Marlohe and Naomie Harris, they opted for Jay Z's wife Beyonce.

After discovering Craig's reasoning, an unimpressed Harris said: ''Is that what you need to be a Bond girl?''

While Beyoncé may have been disappointed about not getting Craig's endorsement, Rihanna could not wait to share her delight with fans.

She posted a link to the interview on her Twitter page and included the caption: ''This makes me happy.''

RiRi made her acting debut this summer when she starred alongside Liam Neeson and Taylor Kitsch as Petty Officer Cora Raikes in Battleship.

Beyoncé has had some success in films like Dreamgirls, Obsessed and Cadillac Records.
