Irish actor-model Jamie Dornan and his wife, English actress-singer Amelia Warner, have reportedly welcomed their first child.

According to Us Weekly, two sources have confirmed that the 32-year-old actor and daughter of actress Annette Ekblom have a baby boy. However, the newborn's name and other details are not yet available and the actor's spokesperson has not commented on the news. The same sources told the magazine that Dornan is "thrilled" to become a father.

Dornan, who previously dated Kiera Knightly for two years, married Warner in April this year and confirmed in June that they were expecting a baby.

Dornan's father Jim and step-mother Samina are well-known gynaecology and obstetrics consultants in Northern Ireland.

"Jim and I are delighted that our third grandchild is on the way," Samina, who is also a sub-specialist in maternal fetal medicine at the Royal Maternity Hospital, told Sunday Life. "The early wellbeing scanning was a beautiful and emotional experience for all present."

Meanwhile, Dornan, who is playing Christian Grey in the film version of EL James's best-selling erotic novel Fifty Shades of Grey, had previously revealed that he was very positive about his character in the movie.

"I'm a fairly worldly guy. I grew up in a very liberal place. I'm not saying we had a playroom, but I'm not shocked by [the sex in the book]. It's essential to tell the story. I can't believe films that don't invoke the sexual side of it. So it works for me," Dornan told Entertainment Weekly.

Previously, Charlie Hunnam was scheduled to appear opposite Dakota Johnson, daughter of actors Melanie Griffith and Don Johnson in the movie. Sam Taylor-Johnson is directing from a screenplay by Kelly Marcel.
