Gmail is Down in UK and France
What a number of Gmail users are seeing when they try to log into their accounts on Thursday.

Multiple Gmail users in the UK and France reported that Google's email service was not working for them on Thursday morning.

According to the Down Right Now website, Gmail suffered problems with its service for the last four hours approximately. The website reported Gmail's current status was a "Likely Service Disruption" but for the status of the service is now reported as 'Up'.

Users reported seeing a Error 502 message which read: "The server encountered a temporary error and could not complete your request. Please try again in 30 seconds. That's all we know."

Twitter users reported issues with Gmail on Thursday morning with users reporting problems in the UK and France.

Google told IBTimes UKthat it had not seen any evidence of an outage and its App Status Dashboard has not recorded any service outage in the last week.

Gmail previously suffered a significant outage in September when 30% of users had their service interrupted for up to 12 hours.

Just last month Facebook suffered a global outage which saw all of its billion+ user base unable to access the social network for more than 20 minutes.
