Shad Moss aka Bow Wow has sent shockwaves among his fans after announcing his retirement as a rapper. While many wondered what made the 29-year-old singer and actor take the shocking decision at such a young age, he hinted at a rather adorable reason.

Moss, who is constantly tweeting and answering fans' concerns regarding his retirement from music, said on Twitter: "Nothing like landing 12 hours later on your way to surprise your daughter at camp and she have no clue."

The CSI: Cyber star has a daughter Shai Moss with Joie Chavis and his latest tweets suggest he wants to shower all his attention on his six-year-old. "It's not THAT big of a deal. Been with my little girl at gymnastics all day. First day back home," he posted.

While answering a fan's question on his very early retirement, Bow Wow said he is thankful for all the good things in his life and now it's his daughter's turn. "I am thankful I am good. It's my daughter turn now. My plate is too full." The 29-year-old rapper also added that he made up his mind and will do one last album before saying goodbye.

Some of the singer's followers speculated that the retirement announcement might just be a gimmick to attract attention for his next album and he might return to music in future. Moss, however, denied the theories. "Mind is made. We gone do it this last time then it's over. We gone celebrate together." Erica Mena's former fiancé has also revealed that he is currently working with American rapper and actor Snoop Dogg for his final album. "This album is going to be very HARD!!! we will have to see I am getting a lot off my chest on this one."

He will also have a retirement show before saying his final goodbye to music. "I will do a show at an arena for my retirement show. I am being everybody out. Might do MSG," Moss tweeted.

On 8 August, Bow Wow announced his retirement on Twitter. "Made over 20 million off rap. Why be greedy? I am good with everything i accomplished. I made it to the white house".
