Have Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux Called off the Wedding?

Hollywood couple Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux have reportedly called off their wedding. According to Star magazine's latest issue, the two had a "nasty" fight at the Soho House in Los Angeles last month, over Aniston's former boyfriend Gerard Butler.

An insider said the 44-year-old Friends star "immediately lit up" when the 43-year-old Scottish actor Butler approached the couple's table. And the intimate conversation between the former couple apparently left Theroux very angry.

"Justin was furious. He called Jen selfish and said he'd felt like a third wheel while she flirted with Gerard all night. Jen broke down in tears. When they left, she had mascara running down her face," the source explained.

The magazine also claimed Aniston's estranged mother, Nancy Dow, "rushed to comfort her". Aniston and Theroux were engaged in August last year and reports of a fanciful wedding - in Kenya, for example - have been making the rounds. However, it is also believed Aniston is careful about her wedding date because she wants to avoid a potential clash with former husband Brad Pitt's marriage to fiancée Angelina Jolie.

A source for US Weekly said Aniston was initially planning to get married first but Theroux "got weirded out by all the rushing". There is another option, though, with some friends believing the couple might elope.

"Jen knows the extraordinary level of interest around the wedding, and no one would be surprised," a source told Grazia, "Neither of them really want a massive ceremony, just the important people, so we really wouldn't put it past them to perhaps give 24 hours notice and say, 'Hey, we're actually doing it this weekend!' They're certainly keeping everyone on their toes."

Meanwhile, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, who starred together in Mr & Mrs Smith, have been together for eight years now and were engaged in April last year. The couple previously settled on a 16th century French château wedding.
