Kate Middleton gave birth to a baby boy at St Mary's Hospital in London with Prince William by her bedside.

As the world is celebrating the big news, many have taken to Twitter to express their excitement for the royal family. Meanwhile, pictures of Chelsea captain John Terry, who was widely criticised for participating with the club's 2012 Champions League celebrations, despite being suspended from the final, has become an internet sensation.

Terry was sent off for kneeing Chilean forward Alexis Sanchez in Chelsea's semi-final triumph over Barcelona at the Camp Nou. But he played a central role in receiving the club's first Champions League trophy and the homecoming victory parade.

In a series of photo-shopped images shared online, the Blues' skipper can be seen holding the royal baby in front of the St Mary's Hospital, while in another picture he is posing with proud parents Prince William and Kate Middleton.
