Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom dating: Singer moves on from John Mayer in secret Hawaii trip

Rumours that Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom were secretly dating first started swirling when the pair were snapped whispering sweet nothings to each other at 2016 Golden Globes, but now there is hard evidence that they are more than just friends.

Tinseltown's latest couple went public with their romance during a sunshine break to Hawaii, where they were photographed indulging in some PDA. In images obtained by Entertainment Tonight they can be seen holding hands during a hike.

"They looked very loved up and really into each other," a source told the publication. "They were comfortable letting everyone see them as a couple – lots of PDA and hand-holding."

The insider added: "It seemed very romantic and they both smiled a lot, and looked to really enjoy each other's company."

Perry, who is was in town to play a private show at the Grand Wailea Resort in Maui, has already been on a handful of dates with her new beau. The Teenage Dream singer joined the The Lord of the Rings actor at aone-man show, The Absolute Brightness Of Leonard Palkey, and the Bloom's manager's birthday dinner.

Perry has dated some of the world's most eligible bachelors. The Roar hitmaker was married to British comedian Russell Brand for 14 months before they divorced in 2012 and previously dated John Mayer on and off. Bloom is also no stranger to high-profile relationships. He was married to supermodel Miranda Kerr from 2010 to 2013, and the two have a five-year-old son together, Flynn.
