Hollywood superstar Leonardo DiCaprio is on the cover of New York magazine's fall issue this month.

Of late, the 38-year-old actor was spotted many times spending quality time with his new German girlfriend, Victoria's Secret angel, Toni Garrn. On the Labour Day weekend, he was seen at the U.S. Open with her sipping champagne and enjoying several matches. He also spent a few weeks sailing around the Mediterranean with Garrn.

Meanwhile, opening up to the magazine, DiCaprio told them that he was determined to reteam with his long-time collaborator Martin Scorsese to film gritty new drama 'The Wolf Of Wall Street' because he was convinced no other director could do the movie justice. This is also the fifth collaboration between Scorsese and DiCaprio, following Gangs of New York, The Aviator, The Departed and Shutter Island.

"I told Marty, 'I don't think we'll be able to do a movie like this too many times in the future. Larger-scale, R-rated dramas, like Blood Diamond or The Departed, don't really get financed anymore," he stated.

He also stated that the protagonist of the movie, Jordan Belfort, had made his life an open book for him. He added that there was nothing he wouldn't divulge, no matter how intimate or embarrassing.

"That was the attraction for Marty as well-it's the kind of brutal honesty that got Marty into making movies like Mean Streets," he stated.

He also said that he had a close relationship with Belford. "I was kind of the middleman between him and Marty, and I would bring pages of notes from my meetings with Jordan-things like this insane orgy on a 747 going to Vegas, chimpanzees in diapers that would skate through the Stratton offices, very intimate stuff about his relationships with women-and Marty was game to try everything. His approach was essentially to put everything onscreen and see what we responded to. It was old-school, really independent filmmaking on a larger scale," DiCaprio stated.

The Wolf of Wall Street traces the true story of Jordan Belfort, a wealthy stockbroker living the high life and his fall involving crime, corruption and the federal government. The Wolf of Wall Street will be released in the US on November 15. However, the UK audience will have to wait until 17 January, 2014 for it to arrive in cinemas.
