Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green love each other dearly. The couple shares three children together and has been married for more than six years.

Speaking about children, the Transformers star took to social media on Tuesday (22 August) to thank her husband for passing on his good looks to their brood.

The actress has said that Green's "teen heartthrob" DNA is the reason why they have beautiful sons - Noah Shannon Green, 4, Bodhi Ransom Green, 3, and Journey River Green, 1.

She praised her husband with an epic throwback photo, which shows Green in his Beverly Hills, 90210 days. Austin is seen wearing a white t-shirt under a black jacket, which he accentuated with hoop earrings and cropped hair.

"Thank you for donating your DNA to the shared dream of birthing our own colony of teen heart throbs. #mcm #colonymission," she wrote alongside the photo which she has shared with her 4.5 million fans on Instagram.

Although Fox and Green have been together for 14 years, they almost called it quits after the actress filed for divorce in 2015. However, the couple's plans to split were put on hold after Fox became pregnant with her third child, according to E! News.

"Brian and Megan been working on themselves as individuals and things have gotten better between them as a couple," a source told the celebrity news website. "They have been getting along great. They are best friends and know each other very well."

The source continued, "They admire each other on how they are as parents and are looking forward to bringing their third child into this world. Megan's favorite thing is being a mom and spending time with her family."
