It is raining Lumia Cyan and Windows Phone 8.1 upgrades in India. Now, users of the Lumia 620 Windows Phone 8 smartphone should see both the Lumia Cyan and Windows Phone 8.1 upgrades seeding to them.

According to a Windows Phone Central report, owners of Lumia 620 in India, along with their counterparts in South America, can check out the Lumia Cyan/Windows Phone 8.1 updates hitting their respective devices.

New features brought along by Lumia Cyan/Windows Phone 8.1

With the updates now available to Lumia 620 in India, users of the mid-range smartphone finally have something to cheer about in terms of functionality.

Both the updates bring a host of enhancements to owners of Lumia 620 in India.

One major enhancement that Windows Phone 8 users world over are eagerly looking forward to is Microsoft's personal digital assistant (PDA) Cortana that helps users in various day to day activities.

Users of the Lumia 620 can check whether the PDA has made herself available, and notify us of the same (in our comments section).

The Windows Phone 8.1 update also features Microsoft's Internet Explorer 11 web browser, a customisable lockscreen, pull down notification bar and an extra 'live tiles' column (optional) on the homescreen.
