Nicki Minaj and Iggy Azalea's ongoing feud has taken a dramatic new turn after the hip hop stars' mutual friend Tinashe snubbed the Australian rapper to join Minaj's Pinkprint tour.

The 2 On singer had been set to perform as a support act on Azalea's The Great Escape Tour, but after the Fancy hitmaker announced that she had moved her concert dates to September, Tinashe quickly jumped ship.

With Tinashe available in the coming months, Minaj, 32, swooped in to secure the popular singer for her own North American tour starting in July, potentially reigniting her lengthy feud with 24-year-old Azalea.

Since news broke of Tinashe's new gig, fans have taken to social media to question her loyalty, claiming that she was fast to switch sides:

It is unlikely Azalea, who features on Tinashe's latest single All Hands On Deck, will respond to comments given that she is taking a break from social media. No love is lost between rappers Azalea and Minaj, who have been locked in a spat over the last few years.

In July 2014, their row reached an all-time high when Minaj gave an acceptance speech at the BET Awards and hit out at other hip hop artists for not writing their own lyrics. "But my point is, what I want the world to know about Nicki Minaj is, that when you hear Nicki Minaj spit, Nicki Minaj wrote it. No shade," Minaj said.

Azalea's close friend and mentor T.I. addressed the feud last year and told Vibe magazine that he believes "women can't get along".
